3RD EDITION OF THE CINAB FORUM: NORTH AMERICAN INVESTORS INVITE TO EXPLORE THE POTENTIALITIES OFFERED BY THE IVORY QUOTA.
Abidjan, October 14, 2026 – Abidjan hosted the opening of the third edition of the Côte d’Ivoire-North America Business and Investment Forum (CINAB Forum). The meeting was held October 13-14, 2026, to attract new investment and create economic partnerships between Côte d’Ivoire and North American countries, including the United States, Canada and Mexico.
This forum gives participants the opportunity to discuss local value chains, i.e. production and supply networks rooted in territories, innovation, and technology transfer, understood as the flow of know-how and technical solutions between actors.
Explaining the importance of this meeting, the President of the Senate, Kandia Camara, said that she is contributing to the diversification of the economic partnerships of Côte d’Ivoire. And appeal to North American investors to come and explore the potential that Côte d’Ivoire offers, particularly in areas such as the processing of agricultural raw materials, industry and infrastructure. It also encouraged them to build lasting relationships capable of generating value and jobs.
For his part, Nialé Kaba, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, stressed the need to convert the progress of trade into productive investment, industrial partnerships and transfer of skills. It recalled the role of economic diplomacy, on the one hand, in enabling Ivorian companies to access international markets, and on the other hand, in strengthening the attractiveness of the country.
Fama Touré, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire (CCI-CI), also stressed the value of bringing Ivorian companies closer to their North American partners. The fact that the Chamber co-organizes this forum demonstrates the desire to strengthen business relations, facilitate market access and place the private sector at the centre of investment dynamics.
